You must have received a pop up message regarding whatsapp saying that :-

"Whatsapp is updating our terms of privacy policy _______ "

It has been almost two years since Facebook acquired WhatsApp for a whopping $19 billion. WhatsApp’s CEO, Jan Koum have said “nothing would change” while talking about privacy policy and handling precious user data.

But now, privacy policies are changed , we gor to know that whatsapp is compromising with facebook and now whatsapp is sharing our no.s with facebook which also increases the facebook ads revenue and experience which will give now a business a new avenue to reach potential customers.

WhatsApp said in a blog post “Whether it’s hearing from your bank about a potentially fraudulent transaction, or getting notified by an airline about a delayed flight, many of us get this information elsewhere, including in text messages and phone calls. We want to test these features in the next several months, but need to update our terms and privacy policy to do so.”

But dont worry we got a chance to stop whatsapp from sharing our no.s to facebook. Its simple and quick !!

You just need to head to WhatsApp Settings > Accounts > Share my account info. You need to uncheck“Share My Account info.”

But we have only 30 days to opt out from it. Do it asap !
